The 2006 China Tianjin National Commodities Fair & Investment Conference”(for short, 2006 Tianjin Conference), specially supported by Ministry of Commerce of P.R.China, jointly sponsored by Tianjin Municipal People’s Government and China General Chamber of Commerce, is to be held in Tianjin International Exhibition Center, Tianjin Sports Exhibition Center, Tianjin Great Hall from April 18 to 22, 2006.
Taking the opportunity of Tianjin Binhai New Area’s brought into the strategic layout for the overall development of the State, with the theme of “Enlarging the regional cooperation and promoting the collaborative development”, we make great efforts to construct the platform for investment promotion and achieve the regional economic cooperation and collaborative development in “2006 Tianjin Conference”
3,000 booths will be set in the conference which include such three parts as the economic cooperation & investment negotiation, commodities show & trade, talent & intelligence introduction and exchange. Among the part of “economic cooperation &investment negotiation”, there are four exhibition sectors: Tianjin, cities and enterprises in the Bohai Sea rim area, cities and enterprises in other parts of China, foreign companies and institutions; Among the part of commodities show & trade, there are 9 industries: electronic home appliance, clothing & dress, tropical fruit & food, Olympic commodities, folk-custom and cultural commodities, automobiles and decorations, commodities from HK, Macao and other provinces and cities, and the products related to financial services.
There will be also seminars on the investment environment of Tianjin and other provinces and cities, key projects for investment, investment policies, matchmaking between enterprises domestic & abroad, inviting application for jobs etc.
