The 16th CCBN - China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition, to be held from March 21st to 23rd, 2008 in China International Exhibition Center, is sure to draw the whole world’s media attention once more to China.
Since its first opening with huge success in 1993, CCBN, the only national-level exhibition of broadcast, cable and satellite technology and equipment, has already become the largest show of its kind in Asia as well as the No.1 exhibition of DTV and broadband network in the whole world.
With 12 exhibition halls totaling 60,000 square meters, CCBN has attracted more than 1,000 enterprises from over 30 countries and regions such as U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Holland, Japan, Korea, Israel, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, etc. It also boasts of a trading volume of $1.45 billion, annual participation of famous manufacturers and more than 70,000 professional visitors.
According to the Cultural Development Outline in the 11th Five-Year Plan Period released recently by Chinese government, it is clearly defined that CCBN will be one of the 8 important exhibitions in cultural industry to win state policy support. This document further consolidates the sound foundation and influence of CCBN in broadcasting development, cultural products promotion and related service trade.
