I. Background
The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), co-sponsored by the departments in charge of economy and trade of China and the 10 ASEAN countries and the ASEAN Secretariat, is an international grand event at state level for economic and trading exchange, which is staged annually in Nanning, Guangxi, China.
Since 2004, the CAEXPO has concluded with great success for 3 consecutive years. Driven by the full support of governments of the 11 countries and backed by the huge market and favorable policies generated by the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA), the CAEXPO is highly credited by political and business communities of the 11 countries, and emerges as a superb platform to promote the cooperation between China and ASEAN in the fields of trade, investment and tourism.

Date: October 28 – 31, 2007
Venue: Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center, Guangxi, China
III. Scale
3,000 international standard booths will be set up, including 2,500 indoor booths and 500 outdoor ones.

II. Pavilion of Investment Cooperation
Investment-inviting & overseas investing projects, international project contracting, human resource cooperation, resource developing, financial services.
III. Pavilion of Agricultural Applicable Technology
Agricultural plantation & animal husbandry technology, agricultural produce intensive processing technology, agricultural bio-technology, modern agricultural equipment, etc.
IV. Pavilion of Cities of Charm
China and the 10 ASEAN choose respectively one (1) harbor city as City of Charm of the 4th CAEXPO, to comprehensively showcase their city images, and particularly, the business opportunities for cooperation in harbor development planning & related policies, harbor cooperation projects, logistic services, harbor information technology, advanced harbor equipment, developing of new shipping routes, etc.
◆Highlight: The China-ASEAN Port Development & Cooperation Forum will be held, which will invite representatives from the key port groups of China and the 10 ASEAN countries, investors and operators of international piers, large shipping companies, logistics enterprises and ship building & repairing companies, harbor logistic information technology enterprises, and harbor equipment manufacturers, to meet with ministers of communications, mayors of Cities of Charm for discussions on the harbor cooperation and development.
V. Booth Supporting Facilities & Rental
I. Standard booth (9m2): USD1,200/booth.
(Facilities: One (1) fascia board with the company title (Chinese & English) and booth number; Three (3) side panels; One (1) table, two (2) chairs, two (2) down lights, one (1) 500W single-phase socket, one (1) litter basket, and carpet.)
II. Net Space (The minimum gross exhibition net space for renting is 36m2)
◆Indoor Net Space: USD120/m2，or RMB1,000 /m2.
◆Outdoor Net Space: USD60/m2，or RMB500 /m2.
Expenditures for non-standard booth decoration, including electric supply, exhibition equipment leasing, booth cleaning, booth installation, etc. shall be borne by exhibitors themselves.
VI. Major Events
◆ Business Pre-matching: Provide business pre-matching services in line with expectations of traders and investors, and arrange business talks during the CAEXPO, for you to target your potential partners.
◆ Meetings & Forums: The China-ASEAN Business & Investment Summit and a series of forums will be held, for business leaders to illustrate their market analysis.
◆ E-booths: E-booths will be provided for exhibitors free of charge at the CAEXPO official website all year around.
◆ Country of Honor: Events will be staged for Countries of Honor of the 4th CAEXPO.
◆ Cultural Events: Splendid cultural exchange events will be staged, including the Nanning International Art Festival of Folk Songs, Gala Performance – Splendid Southeast Asia, the China-ASEAN Golf Masters Invitational, etc.

IX. Registration
I. For Exhibitors
1. Deadline for Registration: July 31, 2007
2.Deadline for Booth Confirmation: August 31, 2007. The CAEXPO Secretariat, upon confirming the qualifications of exhibitors, will provide written confirmations to enterprises concerned, and pre-arrange their booths accordingly.
II. For Purchasers/Visitors

The CAEXPO Secretariat, upon receiving the Registration Form for Purchasers/Visitors of the 4th China-ASEAN Expo, will provide the professional visitors with services like issuing the passes prior to inauguration of the CAEXPO, business pre-matching services, hotel information, etc.
X. Requirements on Exhibitors
◆Qualification of enterprises as exhibitors of the CAEXPO: The CAEXPO Secretariat accepts only the applications made by the enterprises that meet the conditions as follows:
Any enterprise participating as exhibitor shall be possessive of legal licenses in country/region where it is located. If necessary, the CAEXPO Secretariat may request the enterprises to provide the photocopies of their original valid business licenses.
◆ To maintain order of the CAEXPO, enterprises participating as exhibitors shall observe the rules as follows:
The title of an enterprise used for registration shall be consistent with that on the fascia board of its booth. No transferring or speculative reselling of booths is allowed.
Exhibits shall be consistent with the description of goods listed in the approved registration documents.
Enterprises shall not exhibit counterfeit products or infringe upon Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs).
Enterprises shall not retail their exhibits at the CAEXPO venue.
Enterprises shall observe other rules formulated by the CAEXPO Secretariat to maintain exhibition order.
◆Priority of granting exhibitor qualification will be given by the CAEXPO Secretariat to those top and reputed enterprises. Enterprises may provide the documents and certificates of reward on their enterprises or products on vulnerable basis.
